Tips for your application
There has been an increase in whitelist applications being submitted this year (this is great). A lot of them have been garbage (this is not great). If you don't want to have your application instantly rejected, I would strongly recommend reading the entire page.
Put some actual effort and thought into your answers on the application form. The AussieSMP and Creative Server are whitelisted for a reason, your answers are where you have the opportunity to prove that you don't suck.
There have been so many applications that have a total of 7 words. You aren't expected to write an entire novel in your application but if you are unable to write a few sentences with decent spelling and grammar, in what should be something that is a good representation of yourself, then go find another server.
It’s extremely important that you spell your username correctly, I strongly recommend you join the server to make sure that you actually know your username. In the optional section at the end of the application you must add the current month and year. For Bedrock players you must join the server before submitting your application as for some unknown reason Bedrock players make up about 95% of the players who put the wrong username in (feel free to ignore the '.' this is just a prefix applied to your username to differentiate you from a Java player).
Please avoid asking about your whitelist application, all it does is clutter up the chat and doesn't speed up your application process at all. We get a surprising amount of bug reports about people not being whitelisted, this is a bug. Occasionally the server is getting major updates and during this time, no one will be able to join, even if they have been whitelisted. During this situation there will be posts in our Discord before and during the update, as well as the MOTD message of the server changing to a spooky red text stating the server is being updated.
The name of the server has often caused confusion about what people do on the server. The server is intended to be a regular survival server, not a content creator/YouTuber lore server. If you are applying to join the server mainly with the intentions of creating content and role playing with other content creators, you are in the wrong place because 99.99% of our players do not create videos, they are just regular players wanting to play Minecraft. However, you are still allowed to make content on the server, just be aware that it'll likely be a solo endeavor because this is not the primary focus of the other players on the server.
For now that is all and you should be ready to send in an application but expect this page to be updated frequently, so don't just summarise it to your friends who are applying because important details might change.
AusGG and any of our servers are not affiliated with Mojang AB or Microsoft.
