Tips for your application

There has been an increase in whitelist applications being submitted this year (this is great). A lot of them have been garbage (this is not great). If you don't want to have your application instantly rejected, I would strongly recommend reading the entire page.
Put some actual effort and thought into your answers on the application form. The AussieSMP and Creative Server are whitelisted for a reason, your answers are where you have the opportunity to prove that you don't suck.
There have been so many applications that have a total of 7 words. You aren't expected to write an entire novel in your application but if you are unable to write a few sentences with correct spelling and grammar, in what should be something that is a good representation of yourself, then go find another server.
It’s extremely important that you spell your username correctly, I strongly recommend you join the server to make sure that you actually know your username. In the optional section at the end of the application you must add the current month and year. For Bedrock players you must join the server before submitting your application as for some unknown reason Bedrock players make up about 95% of the players who put the wrong username in (feel free to ignore the '.' this is just a prefix applied to your username to differentiate you from a Java player).
Asking about your whitelist application, when you'll be accepted or for someone to look at your application immediately, is not recommended. It usually results in your application being pushed back out of spite and if you're extra annoying about it, there's a decent chance you'll be rejected. Not being whitelisted on the server is also not a bug so stop posting about it there, otherwise your bug-posting privileges may mysteriously disappear. The exception to this is on the rare chance that the server is being updated and all players have been temporarily un-whitelisted to prevent you all joining and breaking stuff, but during this situation there will be a Discord announcement in advance and on the day of the update, as well as the MOTD in the Minecraft multiplayer menu being changed to a red text stating the server is being updated. It will also be reverted back after the update is done, so no need to stress.
The name of the server has often caused confusion about what people do on the server. The server is intended to be a regular survival server, not a content creator/youtuber lore server. If you are applying to join the server mainly with the intentions of creating content and role playing with other content creators, you are in the wrong place because 99.99% of our players do not create videos, they are just regular players wanting to play Minecraft. Obviously people are allowed to join the server and make videos but understand that this is not the DreamSMP/QSMP/Insert Other Roleplay Content Creator NameSMP, it's just a regular survival server that people play on.
A new and improved™ whitelisting system is currently being worked on, until then we are stuck with the current system where players often struggle to find out if they have been accepted or not, among other issues.
For now that is all and you should be ready to send in an application but expect this page to be updated frequently, so don't just summarise it to your friends who are applying because important details might change.
AusGG and any of our servers are not affiliated with Mojang AB or Microsoft.
